3. I often excuse myself for a moment or two when I feel that I am obsessing over someone’s behavior. I’ve been known to actually go into a bathroom, fall on my knees and start praying, asking God to help me stop obsessing.
4. When you are alone and your mind starts to lock on to the anxious person’s life, take time to write in a journal. This is a wonderful way to identify your emotions and to be able to see a clearer picture of the things that are bothering you.

Quick read with some good tips; however, grammatical mistakes, typos, and poor phrasing detracted from the sincerity of the book.
Too general, does not address some of the nuance of situations and how they can affect the person who needs to be present for the anxious person.
Anxiety Coping with someone who has anxiety was very helpful. I have a good friend who suffers from anxiety and it was hard to deal with. After reading this book I have now developed some useful strategies for helping my friend to improve their life. Thanks so much, great read!
I've coped with relationship drama for a while and gotten used to it. I've been through a few myself, so I know how horrible it feels. However, it feels almost just as bad when you have to watch a friend go through the pain you are familiar with.
Lindsy Help does a fantastic job of explaining how to overall decrease anxiety issues and relieve stress for others. It's unfortunate to share the suffering of others, but reversing the depression makes up for it.
While this isn't particularly long, it is a great read and important to learn life lessons. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
This book is really good to help someone who has never been around those with true anxiety before. Understanding that anxiety is like depression, bipolar or many other mental illnesses in which the individual that has them does not control the behaviors that result from them. This book goes through how to communicate with someone with anxiety, how to ensure that your actions are not making the issue worse and also a good detail of how the person with anxiety is not being that way directly because or in result of you, and that nothing should be taken personally. Compassion is the answer.
Unfortunately anxiety not only affects the person experiencing it but it also affects those around them. Anxiety has its own way of making everyone worry and panic. It is very hard to see someone go through an anxiety attack and not know how to help them. I think the hardest thing of all is to separate yourself from the situation. People tend to get so involved in the situation that they are not making things better they are only perpetuating the attack.
This book has numerous examples of how to detach without making the person feel they are not important to you. Communication is key and this book gives you the tools and tips to help you still be involved and care but keep your health in check as well. If you are not well you cannot be a good support person for your family/friend experiencing anxiety issues.
It can definitely be difficult to help people with anxiety and it is even worse when they are close to you in some way. People with anxiety tend to shut out others. I am very glad that the author early on makes one of the best points in the entire ebook Do not let your life revolve around that person. Speaking from both having anxiety and having friends with severe anxiety, too much contact, though it seems like a good idea is bad. To take care of this, communication is absolutely key to solving that problem. Let the person tell you how much you can be around instead of taking it upon yourself to always be there for them. And though this shouldn’t be said, do not try to fix them; it will make them even more anxious.
In all, this ebook was a good and helpful tool to help dealing with anxious people.
